Our Story

Small Town Cultures began when founder Cori Deans was looking for a way to feel better while living with Crohn’s disease. She started making fermented vegetables in her kitchen, then sharing them with family and friends. Word got around. The jars multiplied.

Today, Small Town Cultures makes living ferments for real life—including grab-and-go pouches that can brighten a sandwich, liven up lunch, or come along for the ride. It all comes back to the idea that started it: helping more people feel human again.
